Pleasant Plains Elementary School Reviews

My child attends pleasant plains. I think that for the most the teacher are great. I have one problems with the staff at pleasant plains they are not a friendly bunch at all . I feel that yes teaching comes from home first , but when your children are in a atmosphere of people that are not friendly it is not good . It does not cost anything to smile be polite to children, guest entering your building . I could be wrong but that is what i notice alot .

This school has resources for all students be it special education or gifted and talented.

My children go to pleasant plains i love the teachers they do such a good job i can not tell you how good they are!!!!the office staff needs an attitude check, and as far as the parent involvment some of us have to work sorry .The teachers do a great job and are great at what they do i would not send my children to another school if i could.

I love the curriculum. My daughter is in the gifted and talented program. She gets a lot of support to excel. I am a devoted single parent and really had to go that extra mile to make my daughter's experience a good one. I see some parent involvement among the mothers who are lucky enough to have that extra time during the day. That does not mean a lack of dedication from those of us whose circumstance does not allow us that time. Although I like Ms. Partilla, her staff can be off putting. I worked past that and not every parent will feel they should have to do that. Not every parent will have the time to do that.

My son attends Pre-K at Pleasant Plains. The teacher and her aids are the best!! If you have the opportunity to attend Mrs. Lansingers class you are very lucky. Over all it is a good school. But the students lack parent envolment.

My son is cuurently a fifth grader here, since day one in the kindergarten class I have had that special feel for this school it is a special place. The staff is amazing and the students are as well.I highly praise the entire group for all there efforts and only hope my sons experience will continue as positive as he passes on to loch raven academy

The teachers at Pleasant Plains are excellent. They definitely go the extra mile. Both of my children had wonderful teachers when they attended Pleasant Plains. Parent involvement could be improved.

We have wonderful teachers here at Pleasant Plains elementary schools. All of my son's teachers go the extra mile in helping each child exceed. Being a concerned parent and a teacher assistant for Balto. Co. Schools, I would like to see more educated teachers and smaller classroom sizes. Our children need to have one on one attention for them to have successful academic years in their education.

The staff at pleasant plains has created an excellent learning environment for my child. The teachers have pushed my daughter to work to her potential and have given her a quality education that is evident in through her work and national test scores.
