Parkville Middle & Center of Technology Reviews

I went to Parkville Middle School and it has the best teachers by whom I have ever been taught.

this schools is very unprofessional. nough said

I went to this school for 6th and 7th grade, i left in 8th grade. I loved it there. I made great friends, and i will remember it always. It shaped me as a person and i learned a lot. The teachers are really nice and they want to help you. I love Parkville!

My son is getting ready to be in the 8th grade and has been here since the 6th grade and we love Parkville very much. The teachers are very invoved the school has a great atmosphere my son has always felt comfortable and confident in Parkville!!!!! The only thing I would like to see is more sports and after school activities! Make it well known and send stuff to the parents. Besides that i and my son love it!!!!!

This is the best school ever it is well disiplined and the teachers and staff are teriffic! I love this outstanding schoo!

Parkville middle Is a wonderful school with great teachers who are supportive and involved! My son is in grade 6 and loves the school and feels safe and accepted by the teachers and his peers! I look forward to the next two years with great expectations and confidence!

As a current student of Parkville Middle, I believe the school is wonderful! The teachers really make sure you understand everything by creating unique lessons that students really want to participate in. The GT program is also great because the teachers can challenge you in ways that make students want to achieve all they can. The magnet program is magnificent! The four programs are fun and show students different types of jobs they could have in the future. All classes are hands on and it was the class I looked forward to the days that I had it. I especially loved the Visual And Graphic Arts Magnet (VGA) because the teacher was nice to us and showed us different techniques to create the best art. As a whole the school has normal middle school issues, (bullies, fights, etc.) but I think Parkville Middle is a good middle school to attend.

Parkville is a wonderful school. We have been afforded a great opportunity with the magnet program. My son was accepted into another bcps magnet program for high school, and we owe a lot of his success to the dedication of parkville middle's excellent teaching staff. The administration is outstanding, especially the principal and guidance counselors. In my opinion, you get out of your education what you put into it. If your child is willing to work hard and cooperate with the teachers, he or she will get an excellent education at parkville middle. The music department outdoes itself every concert. After school activities are definitely there if you want to take advantage of them. My son has already completed his 75 service learning hours (after 7th grade). There are fun family activities periodically. We'll be sad to leave this great school! thank you to everyone there.

As a former student, I had a great experience with the magnet program. Even outside of the magnet program I had great teachers, and I had awesome after-school activities.

I go to Parkville and it's great! This is my 7th grade year and the school has improved so much! New bathrooms, lockers, furniture, etc. And the teachers are awesome! Most of them are really nice! The magnet program is exceptinal and so much fun! I recomend PArkville to any coming 6th grader!

I have sent 4 children to Parkville Middle for their magnet program, and have been very pleased. Although, the appearance needs help, the actual learning is exceptional. My 4 kids went onto even better high schools, because of their magnet experience at Parkville Middle. The parent involvement is exceptional.

The school is really great. I am a student of the magnete program. I really dont care about what other people have to say unless they have gone to the school and actually experienced what it is like. I only wish after school activities had bus to go hom instead of parents coming to pick you up. I also wish that tote bags were allowed to be caried in the school even though their reason is resonable. Overall the school is great.

I feel that parkville middle school is not at all what it's cracked up to be. I feel that the teachers are uptight and snobby and they do not give each student equal opportunties. My child got banquet taken away when he was sent to the office for the first time, and one child never got it taken away even after he was suspended twice. I feel that Parkville is an embarrassment to baltimore county public schools.

This school was quite poor in the over all quality. Each classroom is jammed packed with 30 students. So I would say, not to attempt to get into this school as it is quite pathetic.

I was very excited for my son to accepted into this magnet school but once there I was not very impressed. I think the staff is very snotty rather then being down to earth, I have never received anything in reference to joining the PTA,I dont even know if they have extra curricular activities because I never hear of anything. I think this school could work on a lot of improvement to equal up to the hype about this magnet school. Carrie Keys

For all the hype for this magnet school, I thought the curriculum would be better, but it's not and that was quite a disappointment. Wish I had sent my child to the local Middle River Middle School. Parkville should really work on the physical attributes as well as curriculum and extra-curricular activities.

The new bathrooms are a lot better then the old ones, as so the lockers. The magnet program is great and I really enjoy beng at Parkville. The after school activities are ok, but not really that exciting.

I like the madnet program. The teachers are awsome. The bathrooms need improvment and maybe some new lockers and thats all. I like the fact that we can go outside after lunch. That's cool. Also the food is so much better than any Elem. school food.

I am an alumni from this school, and I think the only good thing about it is the magnet program. the facilities, such as the bathrooms and the lockers, were horrible. I enjoyed my time in the magnet program, but I think the school could improve a lot if given the chance.
