Diggs-Johnson Middle School Reviews

“I read the review for Diggs-Johnson school from 2003. I have seen the negative side of the school. Some classrooms in more obscure areas are filthy and in disrepair. Posters cover years-old crud and mildew that are on the walls. I have a child who is a quiet child. He has been assaulted and harrassed frequently at the school. It felt like I was sending my child into a war zone. He was very withdrawn and depressed. The point is, I had to intervene and put the staff to the test in order to assure the safety of my child. Some of the staff are very caring, but some will not go that extra mile, even with the child's education. I have seen many children simply as seat fillers. The staff seem to be more concerned of the uniform policy than educating our youth.”

“Hello I am a parent of a student at Diggs-Johnson Middle School and I am very pleased to have my child in this school. I have seen great improvements and leadership in my child. My child is participating in many of the activities the school has avalable and it is keeping her occupied and learning more every day. I am very happy with the teachers and staff they all are very helpful and encourage my child to do better for herself. I give the school and its staff an applause. Thank you for everything.”
