St. Camillus School Reviews

Have a current 8th grader and 2 grads who went on to Catholic high schools. Both felt well prepared and continue to do well

Both of my sons attended St. Camillus ... and both had positive experiences. The teachers and administration have created a positive environment and the curriculum is challenging. There are various afterschool activities, including Aftercare. I recommend this school!

This school has been great for my kids. We have been there for several years and, while each teacher has been very different, they are very attentive to the child's needs. The principal is receptive to parents needs. There are some after-school activities, such as a dance group, that would be difficult to find elsewhere. The after-school program that needs the most work is organized sports. All in all, I would rate the school as very good.

After the unfortunate closing of our lady of sorrows school, i enrolled my child in st camillus. I must admit that coming from such a close nit, family environment at ols, i felt the schools parents seemed a bit 'clickish',with preconceived views of ols children and parents. The principal however is very welcoming and willing to go completely out of his way to make families feel welcome, even calling all parents by last name (how does he do it?). Over all the academics seem to be above average and prepare students for the next grade level. I do however have a problem with the grading scale on some of the assignments, and i am a bit disappointed that in april we still haven't had a hsa meeting.

For a Catholic family this school is great..It is safe haven for children in general. this school is multicultural 'That' is great for my children and the education is great. The food we need a little improvement, but over all is an A+ school! The discipline is excellent; teachers & the principal don't look at it just like a job they have passion for teaching. It is a community at work.

Mayhem is the best way to describe the running of this school. I had to pay tutors to help me kids get the basics for high school. Some of the teachers are very rude to the kids. I feel that I am well rid of an overbearing situation - don't waste your money
