Our Lady of Victory School Reviews

I have 2 grandchildren, one has graduated and one is currently in school at OLV. This is a close knit family of teachers and parents, and the educational standards are excellent. My grandchild was well prepared for high school and continues to excel. I also think the mix of ethnicity in the school is a wonderful background for kids to learn to live together in this world.

OLV is definetly a great school i i was in public school from kindergarten all the was to the middle of 7th grade when my mother pulled me out and put me in olv i made friends instently and the teacher helped me to catch up on work it is a very warm and loving envorerment i graduate this year and in some ways im not looking forward to it because i will miss teacher and the my friends i would definetly recomend olv

My son and niece attend Our lady of Victory and love it. The teachers are great, and my son never wants to miss a day of school. There are many activities for the children, and the culture is like a family. I am really impressed with this school.

OLV is an amazing school. I just graduated from Olv (Class of 2008) and i miss the school alot. The students and teachers are wonderful. At Olv you feel like a big family. The students are very welcoming and outgoing. I would reccomend Olv to anyone looking for a school with good academics great extra activities and a place where you child can feel like he/she is at home.

I am the parent of an incoming second grader and incoming 5th grader at OLV. I found last year's 1st and 4th grade teachers to be committed and hardworking. The communication and personal attention were excellent. My youngest loves school and my oldest is well prepared for grade 5. I would recommend the school highly.

The 4th grade at OLV is very disappointing. The teachers do not provide a solid foundation in language arts. Additionally, the teachers take no initiative to help students improve. Communication is also a huge problem in this grade.

I am the parent of a 4th grader at OLV and to be honest I believe the teachers are lazy. My child needed basic help and I was never informed about the help she needed. I asked for more Science work for my child and never received any. They do not give enough homework and the work load is a joke. I really do not believe they push there students to be the best or do their best. There are too many students in a class. The only positive thing about OLV is there many activities and there are many if you are interested in that kind of thing. I would not recommend OLV to anyone.

Our Lady of Victory is a great school! It has a great blending of Christian values and academic achievement. The extracurricular activities at OLV are first class, and give students a way to put their extra energy to good use and build character and confidence while building strong bonds of friendship that will last forever. 3 Class of 06 Students.

The school is an outstanding example of making opportunities available for those that want to take advantage of them. The work load can be a bit much at times, but it hasn't killed anyone yet and the students are well prepared for both the middle school (for those moving from 4th to 5th gades) and high school (for the graduates). The teachers care a great deal for the students, foster their education in every way possible, and are as communicative as possible through both personal contact and technology. This is a first-rate school for a wide range of students, and it is to be commended for its success.

This school is very good. I am an 8th grader here at OLV, and I love it. I used to go to Ascension, which I can tell you is not a good school. When I came here in 3rd grade, I made friends instantly. This is a wonderful school, good academic standards, good teachers, and good students. This school is wonderful!

There's not enough wonderful things to say about this school. By far the best choice in the area if not the state. From the principal down the leadership and involvement is outstanding. I think the greatest thing about OLV is the sense of community and the fact every child is treated as an individual, not just shoved along through the system.
