Teachers and faculty are attentive, sometimes even tough, but all for good reason. My classmates and I learned the value of discipline and hardwork, earning millions of dollars in scholarships by graduation. Don't get me wrong, everyone there was also kind and approachable. “Mount de Sales Academy for Girls (MDSA) is tops. We sent our two daughters there a few years ago. One, very gifted, graduated with enough AP credits to begin her sophomore year in college. The other, average throughout elementary and high school, soared to success in college with top grades and a student leadership position. Both girls were well prepared at MDSA. The school is very, very Catholic. The young ladies are poised, polite and pleasant. After graduation one year, several MDSA girls went to Ocean City for Senior week, as do almost all in our area. The MDSA girls went to Mass on Sunday while they were there. This says it all in terms of religious training. Excellence si expected and achieved. It is not unusual for all of the girls in an AP class to score a 5 on the exam. The college scholarship list is also very long.”
