Jazz guitarist, Michael Raitzyk will perform live at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys, Thursday, November 5. Michael Raitzyk is well known to the Baltimore jazz community and is one of Baltimore’s premier jazz guitarists known for his style is a mix of blues, fun, R&B, and jazz. Raitzyk has been playing locally for over 20 years and in 1996 he started the band Charm City Klezmer which has included performances at the Kennedy Center, New York City’s Klezmer Brunch at Tonic, and the Columbia Festival of the Arts. Raitzyk studied guitar at Towson University and at Thomas Jefferson Performance Arts High School in Portland, Oregon. He has also studied with Walt Namath, Larry Coryell, Sheryl Bailey and Adam Rafferty.
The Thursday night music performance is free and open to the public and is from 6-9 p.m. Free covered parking at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys is an ideal feature of this music location. The Crossroads Lounge at the Radisson Hotel in the Village of Cross Keys offers an intimate setting for guests to enjoy light jazz music while taking advantage of the fully stocked bar which serves fine wines, local brews, and specialty cocktails with happy hour pricing from 4-7 p.m. In addition, the Crossroads Lounge and Restaurant feature a new farm-to-table menu if a full meal is in order.
