Description:
Two top-notch women attorneys, must put aside their personal differences long enough to defend a wealthy socialite accused of a brutal murder. Not until they come up against a hot-shot prosecutor who considers every loss a personal affront, do the two adversaries close ranks and, in the process, develop a bond that sees them through the roadblocks of trial, the pain of betrayal, and pressures neither could have imagined. Biography: Author Pamela Samuels-Young is a working attorney who squeezes in time to write whenever and wherever she can find it. Her desire to see engaging African-American characters in today’s mainstream legal fiction prompted her to pen her first novel, Every Reasonable Doubt. The former television news writer earned her law degree from UC Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law. She has a master’s degree in broadcasting from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California. Pamela served as legal consultant to the Showtime television series, Soul Food, and speaks frequently on writing and “Pursuing Your Passion”.
