My husband and I consistenly go here all of the time, and it is consistently good. It is not overpriced, the service is great, and the food is hot and wonderful. The value is terrific...you can be stuffed and still have money in your pocket. We are so happy we found the Szechuan House.

I ordered from here my first time per a friends advice. We received our food quickly and everything was there and still piping hot! We ordered Lunch Boxes since it was lunch time and we received a huge amount of food for a very low price. You can also order all white meat for a little extra in case you do not like dark meat. I had the General Tso's chicken, which had amazing flavor and I also had Chicken Lo Mein, which was the BEST I have had to this day. This is definitely not your run of the mill fast food Chinese place! I highly recommend Szechuan House to all of those Chinese food lovers!

I was led to this inconspicuous gem -- it's nestled in an uninspiring corner of an uninspiring strip mall -- by a review that described it as one of only two authentic Chinese restaurants in Baltimore. This seemed to be verified by the fact that a good proportion of the costumers seemed to be Chinese -- a good sign in my book. The food is great, service is wonderful, and the prices are the lowest I have found for a good Chinese restaurant. I wouldn't describe it as upscale -- it's a family restaurant in the best sense of the term -- but you get the royal treatment: they keep a bowl of cashews filled in the entryway, in case there's a line for seating or a wait for takeout; they bring hot towels to you several times between courses; and there's a cup of sherbet at the end of the meal. You get much more than you pay for and you leave happy. I highly recommend it.
