Carlos Taylor's Bio
Here is a quick list about me:
• I received a Bachelor of Arts from Towson University, majoring in Fine Art with a minor in Spanish.
• I have taught art in College and in High School as a substitute teacher.
• I offer private art lessons. My first student won a scholarship award for his work under my tutelage.
• I am proficient in: oils, watercolor, acrylics, gouache, pastels, charcoal, sculpture, etching, photography, and drawing.
• Obtained certifications in Dreamweaver MX, Flash MX, Java Script, & Photoshop.
• Proficient in iLife, Illustrator and Quark.
• I am multilingual. I am fluent in Spanish, educated through high school in Madrid, Spain.
• I have been a freelance illustrator for 10 years.
• Currently, I am working on 20-piece collection for a commissioned one-man show in Atlanta, Georgia.
Professional published work:
• Book cover for a novel that is found on Amazon and Barnes & Nobel called “ Sex, Money, Good Grades, and other Things you will not get in College” by Brad Mendenhal.
• Cover art for “The Imperial Herald” in addition to two interior illustrations.
• Collected art in “The Official Encyclopedia gold edition card guide” for “Legends of the Five Rings.”
• 1st commission pin up for Pitt#14.
• Featured in Hellshock#4 as “the new up and coming talent.”
• Cartoonist for the “Transmitter” for Tessco Technologies.
• CD cover for a Spanish band called “Angeles Perdidos”
• Logo designs for various Spanish companies.
